Dr.
Jay R. Sculley
Dr. Jay R. Sculley is President of Aviation, Navigation and Satellite
Programs (ANSP), which has been instrumental with the successful
fielding of next generation communication and navigation technologies
used to modernize the National Airspace System. During his tenure
as President, he has developed a strategic plan to increase profitability
of the company and led the effort to replace ANSP on the team
of two high revenue producing projects.
Prior to his position at ANSP, Dr. Sculley was Chairman of the
Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Allied Defense Group,
where he currently serves as Chairman Emeritus.
From 1992 to 1999, Dr. Sculley was Director of Advanced Studies
and Technologies at Grumman Corporation and prior to that, served
as Assistant Secretary of the Army for Research, Development,
and Acquisition.
In addition, Dr. Sculley has a long standing history of service
to the Virginia Military Institute, where he was a professor and
Dean of the Department of Civil Engineering for eleven years.
Dr. Sculley is also an alumnus of VMI, where he earned his B.S.
in Civil Engineering. Dr. Sculley also has his M.S.E., Ph.D. in
Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Sculley and his wife, Peggy Lee, have two children.
